Vision
We at A World Feast envision a world where all people are welcome at the global table as equals. It is our intention and vision to work for a more just and equitable world. We believe there is power in coming together as a positive voice of hope for those who may have lost all hope.
Mission
A World Feast seeks to create ways for those of wisdom, to communicate their messages of courage, hope, and strength to others who suffer the impact of genocide and other atrocities. Our mission is to empower people and governments to take action that promotes and protects all life on earth, as well as facilitating an awakening and empowering of people in the world arising out of shared compassion and caring for one another.
Our Board
Founder, President, CEO Lynne Marie Cheney of Albuquerque, Lynne has a passion and compassion for protecting and promoting the well-being of all people. She is a writer and keeper of stories. Expert at research, strategy and tactics, skills she uses daily as CEO for the NGO A World Feast Foundation. Her skill and passion provide her with wisdom and the ability to guide A World Feast and The Talking Stick toward innovative solutions to very serious issues. She is particularly concerned about those living in active conflict regions such as Darfur and Sudan. Lynne understands the power of using her creativity and passion to develop and promote projects that serve the vision of A World Feast. She is a University of New Mexico Graduate, Magna Cum Laude.
Chair, Board of Directors and Vice President, Ronald Aldrich of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Ron brings a passion for human rights grounded in the reality of years of work in the healthcare field. He has excellent business acumen and a keen understanding of people and organizations and how they work. Ron’s passion and expertise work well as Board Chair of A World Feast. He has served with distinction on many boards and has also had several positions as CEO. Ron helps to ensure, along with the entire board that A World Feast is following all nonprofit guidelines, governance, procedures, and protocol. Ron is a University of Florida Graduate and resides in Santa Fe New Mexico.
Executive Vice President Valerie Peppinger of Arlington, Washington, Val has spent 30 years of her life working as a life coach, helping people to find wholeness. She brings passion and organization to A World Feast. Dynamic and people oriented, Val cares deeply about mentoring youth and helping families. She functions best as creator and co-creator of concepts and ideas. She has amazing creative talents and numerous ideas that help make A World Feast a thriving and dynamic NGO. She is a sought after horse trainer as well, with more than enough “horse sense” to keep all of us going in the right direction. Val lives in Washington State.
Vice President of Fundraising, Linda Off of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Linda has had a long and distinguished career in nonprofit service. She has spent many years as a professional fundraiser and networker. New to our board, Linda, guided by the entire board, is working to find her focus and the best use of her skills to serve the vision and mission of A World Feast. Linda lives in Eldorado New Mexico.
