2012

It all began in Tunisia, a brave and desperate action by one man set the whole world on fire.

Egypt was to follow, then Libya, and now America. Clearly people want a more just and equitable world within which to live.

When you look at what matters to most people, we all want pretty much the same things even though our religion, ethnicity, religion, and country of origin may be different.

I would offer that most of us want work we enjoy, enough to eat, a home, our family, and friends. We want to feel valued and able to offer our talents and gifts to one another so that all may benefit. We want to have fun, enjoy ourselves, and live our lives peacefully. Sounds simple, but for some reason the world is finding itself farther and farther away from the things in life that matter most. Why is this so in 2012?
